The Fan in the Stand
Steve's been football crazy since he was just a lad.
The combination of Presenter and Supporter has brought out the best in both his passion as an England fan and his abilities as a broadcaster.
In 2018, Steve's dream job became a reality as he hosted the football show, 'World Cup Latest' on Freeview and Virgin Media. The series ran for 22 episodes during a historic tournament, which saw England reach their first World Cup Semi-Final in 28 years and bury the ghosts of a penalty shootout past.
2019 saw a revolution in Women's Football. Steve's was at the forefront of the International game, with his groundbreaking TV series,
'Adopted By The Lionesses'. With behind the scenes access to Wembley Stadium, St George's Park and chats with the likes of the England squad and manager Phil Neville. The Women's World Cup took Steve on a journey to France to experience the action.
Over the year's, Steve's been fortunate enough to interview some of the greats including the likes of former England captain John Terry when Steve was just 17 and he joined Graeme Le Saux for England vs Sweden at Euro 2012.
His work with a variety of broadcasters and newspapers over the years allowed him the chance to be involved in football from a media perspective.
Steve's weekly newspaper column gave him the chance of being one of the first to attend Brighton & Hove Albion's Amex Stadium, via the Media Suite. Here, he reported on the very first match.
Steve was even voted in an unofficial poll by Carling, way back in 2006, as 5th next likely to take over as England manager! Yes, this is actually a true story!
